Real Madrid has reportedly set up an agreement to sign Florian Wirtz in 2025.

Real Madrid are reportedly preparing to sign Bayer Leverkusen’s Florian Wirtz in the summer of 2025. Since his Bundesliga debut in 2020, Wirtz has established himself as one of Europe’s top midfield talents, playing a crucial role in Leverkusen’s title-winning season, with 18 goals in 49 appearances.

According to Marca, Real Madrid and Wirtz have reached a mutual agreement for the 2025 transfer. This strategic move aims to bolster Madrid’s squad as they aim to maintain their football dominance. The anticipated transfer fee for Wirtz is around €130 million, reflecting his significant impact and value.

Real Madrid has already secured Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain for the 2024/25 season, joining stars like Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Junior. A move for Wirtz would further strengthen their lineup.

Leverkusen’s chief executive, Fernando Carro, previously stated that only an exceptional offer of €150 million would prompt the club to part with Wirtz. Before the potential transfer, Wirtz is set to play a key role for Germany in Euro 2024, where he will join legends such as Toni Kroos, who plans to retire post-tournament.
