When Endrick will be unveiled as a Real Madrid player
Real Madrid Set to Unveil Brazilian Wonderkid Endrick
According to recent reports, Brazilian wonderkid Endrick is set to be unveiled as a Real Madrid player on July 26. The announcement of Endrick’s signing came in December 2022, with Real Madrid securing his transfer for the summer of 2024. The deal, which involved an initial payment of approximately €35 million and an additional €25 million in bonuses, saw Madrid triumph over several top European clubs in the race for Endrick’s signature.
Since sealing the transfer, Endrick has continued to shine in Brazil, featuring in 22 matches for Palmeiras during the 2023/24 season and scoring four goals. The young forward is slated to sign his contract on July 21, coinciding with his 18th birthday, and will then be officially introduced as part of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad, according to The Athletic.
Endrick’s presentation will follow that of Kylian Mbappe, who is expected to be unveiled on July 16, right after the conclusion of the European Championships in Germany. Endrick is anticipated to don the number 16 jersey at Real Madrid, the same number he wore at Palmeiras. The last player to wear this number for Madrid was Alvaro Odriozola, who transferred to Real Sociedad in September.
The Santiago Bernabeu stadium is reportedly a strong contender to host Endrick’s unveiling, offering fans the chance to welcome their new star. Currently, Endrick is representing Brazil at the Copa America but is expected to join Real Madrid’s pre-season tour in the US once his contract is finalized.
