Wizkid’s ‘Morayo’ Album: Extremely Personal

In a recent interview with Esquire, Nigerian music star Wizkid opened up about his upcoming album, his family, and his Nigerian roots. The album, titled “Morayo” after his mother’s name, The album is described by Wizkid as “very, very personal.”

Wizkid shared that his fashion sense was influenced by his family, specifically mentioning his twelve sisters. “I grew up with sisters in the house. A whopping twelve, to be exact,” he said.

Discussing his children, Wizkid emphasized his commitment to their upbringing, stating, “I’m trying to raise champions. I instill that into their minds […] that God has put them here on purpose.” This highlights the profound impact his family has had on his life.
