Yul Edochie Faces Backlash for Comment on Psquare Feud

Controversial Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has sparked outrage on social media after weighing in on the ongoing feud between the Psquare brothers—Peter, Paul, and Jude Okoye. The conflict, which has seen Peter accuse his twin brother Paul of disrespecting his wife, claiming exclusive ownership of their collaborative songs, and downplaying his contributions, took a dramatic twist with Peter’s revelation about the secretive ownership of Northside Music by their older brother Jude and his wife Ifeoma.

Amidst the escalating tensions, Yul Edochie made a provocative statement that quickly drew the ire of many. In his comments, Yul suggested that sometimes peace can only be achieved by creating distance, even from family members.

He wrote, “Sometimes real peace comes from staying apart. Sometimes even some family members have to be blocked to achieve peace. Trying to be close will kill you. Life is short, especially for men. Block anybody that needs to be blocked so you can have peace.”

Yul’s remarks emphasized the importance of prioritizing peace in one’s life, even if it means severing ties with close relatives. However, his words did not sit well with many social media users. Critics were quick to point out Yul’s own turbulent personal life, particularly his controversial separation from his wife, May Edochie, questioning his qualifications to offer advice on family matters.

The backlash was swift and intense, with many accusing Yul of hypocrisy and insensitivity. Despite a few voices of support, the overwhelming response was one of scorn, with some users labeling Yul as unfit to speak on such sensitive issues.

As the Psquare feud continues to unfold, Yul Edochie’s comments have only added fuel to the fire, further polarizing opinions and sparking heated debates across social media platforms.
