Portable Cries Out Over N18 Million Debt
Popular street pop artist Portable has revealed the immense debt he has incurred after being duped by tour promoters in America. The ‘Zazuu’ hitmaker shared his distressing experience, stating that he attempted to travel to America but was denied six times at the embassy, attributing the rejections to his poor English skills.
Portable explained he was paid N3.6 million for the event, and many tickets were sold. However, he couldn’t attend due to visa issues. The promoters then demanded he pay over double what he received, totaling more than N20 million. So far, Portable has paid N18 million.
