The “Sicko Mode” rapper was initially detained after an alleged scuffle with a hotel security guard who attempted to break up a fight between Scott and his bodyguard.
In an official statement sent to USA TODAY on Saturday, a representative for Scott confirmed, “Travis Scott has been released with no charges.” Paris police also corroborated this information in a separate email, stating that the case has been closed and Scott’s custody ended on Saturday.
The incident occurred at the upscale Georges V hotel in Paris, where the altercation reportedly happened. French prosecutors had initially confirmed Scott’s detention on Friday, sparking widespread media attention.
