Ademola Lookman Named Atalanta Player of the Season

Nigeria’s Ademola Lookman has been crowned the player of the 2023/2024 season by Atalanta, marking another outstanding achievement.

The Super Eagles winger, Ademola Lookman, retained the title of Atalanta B.C.’s Player of the Season for 2023/24, a repeat of his win in 2022/2023.

Atalanta reached the finals of two competitions, with Lookman playing a crucial role throughout. His performance was pivotal in Atalanta’s 3-0 victory over Bayer Leverkusen in the UEFA Europa League final. Lookman’s hat-trick secured the trophy for his side.

Atalanta announced the accolade on Thursday, stating, “It’s him again, Ademola Lookman! The reigning champion defends his title and is crowned straight-A student for the second year in a row. He staved off fierce competition, bringing the contest to an overtime runoff and stepping up to the posedown on Instagram after the regular session ended in a tie.”
