Charly Boy Explains Why Dangote’s Refinery Fuel Is Colorless

Nigerian activist and entertainer Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, recently revealed why fuel produced by Dangote’s refinery is colorless. According to Charly Boy, this unique Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) is refined using ethanol, setting it apart from traditional gasoline and offering significant environmental and engine benefits.

In a detailed post titled “Why Dangote fuel is white,” Charly Boy explained that the ethanol-derived fuel not only enhances engine efficiency but also significantly reduces harmful emissions. Ethanol contains a high oxygen level, which minimizes carbonation inside engines, leading to lower carbon dioxide emissions. This innovative fuel blend could represent a cleaner, greener alternative to conventional petrol, reducing air pollution and contributing to a healthier environment.

Charly Boy further elaborated on the fuel’s color variations, noting that traditional petrol can appear red, green, or yellow depending on its additives.
