‘Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti’ continues to dominate the Nollywood box office for the second consecutive week.

CEAN released a report on June 10, 2024, detailing the top 10 films screened in Nigeria, covering the period from June 7 to June 9, 2024.

The Hollywood film “Bad Boys: Ride or Die” debuted on June 7, 2024, securing the top spot with a total gross of ₦68.9 million.

“Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti,” a Nollywood biopic, surpassed last week’s top film “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga,” now holding the third position with a gross of ₦105.9 million.

Nollywood crime film “Criminal” secured fourth place with a total gross of ₦32.3 million, earning ₦8.9 million for the week. “Ajosepo,” a comedy-drama, maintained its top 10 position, grossing ₦50.4 million in its first five days and currently ranking eighth with a weekly total of ₦2.4 million and a total gross of ₦251.4 million.

“Deafening Silence,” released on June 7, 2024, earned a total gross of ₦1.2 million. The Yoruba epic film “Blacksmith: Alagbede” rounded off the list, with a total gross of ₦62 million, occupying the tenth position with a weekly total of ₦974,675.
