Wizkid Slammed as ‘Clout Chaser’ by Nigerian Lady Kimmy K
Nigerian Grammy winner Wizkid has been sharply criticized by a Nigerian lady known as Kimmy K, who labeled him as ‘immature,’ ‘childish,’ and a ‘clout chaser.’ Speaking on a recent podcast, Kimmy K expressed her disappointment in Wizkid’s recent behavior, despite being a fan of his music and talent.
Kimmy K highlighted that Wizkid has been acting strangely on social media, subtly shading various people unprovoked. She emphasized that, regardless of opinions on Wizkid, his talent is undeniable. However, his recent actions have been anything but mature.
She stated:
“I am a fan of Wizkid, and I am a fan of his talent and his music. Regardless of how you feel about Wizkid, you can never deny his talent.”
Kimmy K continued to critique Wizkid’s recent tweets, which she found immature and childish. She pointed out that there is a narrative portraying Wizkid as the mature one among his peers, but his recent behavior contradicts this image.
“There were subs directed at Davido and his camp, and these subs ended up dragging people who are not involved in the matter, like Chioma, and it really rubbed me the wrong way. It felt to me like Wizkid has been clout chasing lately,” she added.
